Day 011

I started off in the Natural World, and we got the kanji textures :) I found some Lions that followed me around, and would teleport slightly behind themselves if I tried to run into them? Weird. I also ran around enough to find what I think is a map of the entire game? I’ve tried to avoid reading a TON of documentation on this game since I want to explore naturally and try not to influence anything by knowing too much, but I do remember reading back in the day that this is a full map of all the locations in the game. I decided I wanted to try to explore as much of the Natural World as I possibly can. I have been doing a lot of teleporting, so this dream, I wanted to try to NOT teleport and just get a hang of what this location had.

With that in mind, I ran around the plateau until I saw a flat building in the distance. And, to my surprise, it was an entrance to Kyoto. Cool! I didn’t go in, but it’s good to know that this is here. I kept running around until I found a second, identical map in a different location and a floating castle that I would have loved go to to, but sadly, I didn’t see a way to get there. I approached a bridge but I was frozen as a huge hand popped up and a head soon followed. Seeing this event caused me to be teleported to Kyoto, so I set off to try to make a mental map of Kyoto as well, but I woke up just after seeing a Minotaur man and turning to walk away from him.

Day 012

Fading into the Temple area, I saw a flash of white pretty much as soon as I loaded in and I’m not quite sure if the hat man was responsible or not? I didn’t physically see him at first, but then, he appeared right in front of me, and I was running at the time and couldn’t stop so… I either ran into him once or twice, lmao. The Temple was actually pretty empty other than the hat man so I ran through to get to a tunnel to go to Kyoto since I knew these two were connected and I wanted to continue to explore Kyoto. I saw a beautiful peacock upon reaching Kyoto that I loved :) I also saw a weird tall guy in the distance that I tried to chase after but I couldn’t find him. :( I walked around quite a bit and did some sight seeing, noticing that Kyoto is def broken up into districts of some kind, but it wasn’t enough to get a good mental map of it quite yet. I woke up with a flash of pink, which is unique as far as my memory serves.

Day 013

Back in Kyoto again boys, but this time it’s really colorful. I was enjoying the textures and taking pictures when I heard a creaking sound. I went to catch up with it and saw what looked like a covered wagon with something or someone pulling it. I tried to run to get ahead of them to take a photo, but as soon as I tried, I must have accidentally clipped my geometry a bit into them, because I got teleported again. Sorry, no photo :( Oh well, back to the Natural World. At least I found a cool turtle that shrunk when I got his picture!

I found that area with vines again with a tunnel so I headed in and ended up at the Pit & Temple. I decided to go to the Flesh Tunnels instead of back to the Natural World, and saw a lone sumo wrestler instead of two. He seemed kinda lonely. I wanted to explore the Flesh Tunnels more but something teleported me (not sure what) to Monument Park, where somehow, I had lost the kanji textures. I went through the exit back to Kyoto to do some more exploring in a larger area. I wanted to try to find the entrance to Natural World to try to further my mental map of areas, but ran into another small wall around a lake :’D I teleported to a really foggy Happy Town where I got to see a whale before waking up.

Day 014

Text dream! This one’s about a baby with an adults? face. I do wonder how literal this one is meant to be taken. What do you think?

“Just a baby, but his face is grown-up.”
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen the Kurushimas’
baby.
I’m looking at his face and it’s all grown up,
but the rest of him is still a baby.
All I can say is “My, how much you’ve grown!”

Day 015

I got another text dream, it was the “day I die” dream again.

Day 016

I spawned in at the Bright Moon Cottage (kanji textures are back) and remembered on Day 8 there was a dot in the distance on the roof and I wanted to see if that was consistent. I caught a baby looking figure slowly floating away from the roof, though as I tried to get a picture, it slowly got further away. I should have taken a picture as soon as I got up on the roof instead of trying to capture the perfect picture! Oh well. I used the chain link fence on the roof again to see if I’d take me to the Violence District but I ended up in Kyoto (normal textures) instead.

I saw a floating head that stuck his mouth open and a kanji symbol came out of their mouth, and then the head disappeared altogether. The event happened so fast, and started me, that I did not get a photo. :( I was trying to find the entrance to the Natural World, but couldn’t for some reason. The Kyoto area is very large and same, so I haven’t quite nailed the geography yet. I did find a geisha and an entire flock of peacocks before waking up though. Which was really cool, I had no idea that more than one peacock would spawn in this area! I’ve only ever seen one here.

Day 017

Starting off in the Moonlight Tower is one of my favorite places to spawn in. I don’t know why, I just think the top of it is so pretty. I ended up walking around the middle to see if I was missing anything around the back or anything and that ended up waking me up in a fade to red. I’m starting to wonder if lingering here just kind of makes you wake up faster.

Day 018

Back at it again in Bright Moon Cottage. I went to the roof right away to see if our floating baby was there, and he was, but I still couldn’t manage to get a very good picture of him. He’s def consistent, though! I went back downstairs all the way and ran into this sky painting to teleport to the Long Hallway (kanji texture). I ran down the hallway to the end, where the walls, roof, and ceiling gave out to a skybox where I got teleported to the Natural World. Here I explored a tiny bit before waking up again.

Day 019

Moonlight Tower’s our starting point again. I headed up to the top, and enjoyed the kanji for “Moon” printed on the moon before running into the railing right in front of said moon to teleport to the Natural World (normal). I barely got to walk around before waking up. It really does seem like Moonlight Tower dreams are just shorter for some reason.

Day 020

Good Ole Kyoto (kanji.) This time, I was determined to find the exit to Natural World. I found a rainbow npc before actually finding the tunnel to the Natural World! Yay! I spent a long time just walking everywhere here, trying to make sense of the area in my head. I did see a glyph of two men walking in front of three camels in the sky that I thought was interesting, upon approaching it it disappeared, but it was def a 2d pixel art in the sky instead of a set of 3d npcs. I also found this interesting stone statue up above the plateaus in this area. I woke up after walking around quite a bit and just taking in the scenery.
