flaws: in his personal life he tends to be overly sarcastic, is a "sees the glass half empty" kind of person (overly negative), stresses easily over small details and gets overwhelmed, sometimes doesn't understand your very funny joke, overall just a very serious person, some people view him as a "stick in the mud."
History
Tseren was born to the Mol tribe and raised on the Steppe. Very early on he learned how to care for livestock and live a simple life. And while he appreciates that very simple life that was afforded to him he was also incredibly intellegent. Tseren would sneak away to hang out at Reunion. There he would hear tales from travelers from afar of distant lands. This is also how Tseren would gain an appreciation for learning, he would do odd jobs for people as a youngster in exchange for books to read. An appreciation slowly turned into a thirst for knowledge. This was also around the time that Tseren realized that he is trans which no one in the Mol Tribe, including his parents, really objected to at all.
What they were wary of, however, is a sixteen year old Tseren wanting to travel to learn more things and persue a traditional education, mostly due to safety reasons. Eventually they did relent, sending Tseren off to Kugane to study as it was still close enough for Tseren to travel home to visit. He began to learn as much as possible but something that became deeply interesting to him was history, culture studies, and politics. Tseren's studies didn't stop there though, and as he aged he began to travel all throughout Othard to study and learn from different perspectives all over the contenent.
After that, Tseren was pretty eager to get home and stay closer to home, mainly rotating once again between Kugane and the Steppe. This would have been around the time Hien was rescued by the Mol and Tseren loved talking his ear off about anything and everything. Tseren did participate in some events in Stormblood, mostly in that year's Naadam and the recapturing of Doma from the Garlean Empire's forces. Afterwards Tseren was offered a place in the new Doma as a diplomat to help ease tensions between different regions in Othard and Tseren was quick to agree.
