Day 021

First Video dream. Elevator with Goldfish. Instead of explaining the dream, I found it on YouTube and edited it down for convenience. Enjoy!

Day 022

I loaded into Bright Moon Cottage with a new exciting texture to look at called downer textures. I believe they come about by having lots of dreams that are downers on the chart, which we have been treading more towards I’ll admit. I really wanted to explore more but I accidentally ran into the corner of the wall and got teleported to Kyoto, with kanji textures again. Such is life! I walked to the Natural World to see if I could get the interesting texture set back, but to no avail. I woke up abruptly while wandering around the Natural World. Nothing too exciting here.

Day 023

Loaded into Kyoto (kanji) and found this npc we missed on day 013! I was excited to be able to actually see it and take pictures, it’s a minotaur pulling a carriage! I wanted to see if it would teleport me to anything fancy, but I just ended up back in Natural World. I’ve spent enough days here lately, but didn’t want to just run into a wall willy nilly, so I waited until I found one of the maps to use that as a teleport point instead. I got Pit & Temple with the downer texture pack this time, and I excitedly ran to the Flesh Tunnels to check it out. Love it. No sumo wrestlers this time. I ran down the tunnels for quite awhile until I finally found the room full of babies, as I mentally refer to it as, and used that to teleport to Monument Park. I was curious, so I used the Tunnel out here. This took me back to Kyoto, with kanji textures. However, instead of exploring Kyoto, I backed up, going back to Monument Park. Interestingly enough, this kept my kanji textures instead of the new ones I had just seen in Monument Park. I wonder if this is a coincidence, or if something about Kyoto changed the textures for all new areas until a “stronger” area comes along to make the dream change textures? Something to think about.

Anyway, this landed me in Pit & Temple with the new texture set, downer. So if my theory’s correct, Pit & Temple and Kyoto are both strong areas that can change texture packs. Not really sure where to go from here, I went ahead and ran into a wall, which ended up taking me back to Natural World (kanji) anyway… and then a Lion ran into me, roaring, waking me up. I guess the implication being that he mauled me to death.

Day 024

I woke up in the Moonlight Tower (kanji) again and started to travel upwards, but then I thought… what happens when you just hit the wall on the bottom, not even going up the tower? So I went back downstairs and ran into the wall. I was teleported to Bright Moon Cottage (normal textures) but into the outside area, which I have not been in once this play through. I was excited to see the little face dude running around and took his picture right before the dream ended abruptly. I’m really glad I got a picture of him!

Day 025

I found myself in Natural World, but this time it was the downer texture pack, so instead of being like “I’m sick of this area” I was like “oh I’m so excited to be here.” Lmao. I walked around quite a bit and found this huge fish that I’ve never seen in this game before. I actually tried to use it to teleport but the game didn’t let me. :( I found one of the maps instead, and used that to take me to the Violence District. I was really determined to find that gunman that shot me down on Day 008 so I walked around the entire district looking for him.

I had just circled around the map, checking the interior of every building (and finding a cool glowing guy, but not who I was looking for!) and I was running in a straight path along the harbor. I swear to you, I saw a figure for a split second, a jump screen, and then was teleported to just another part of Violence District, in front of where someone had been hung up under a streetlamp post. And honestly that’s the first time this game has actually made me jump! I was pretty content when the dream ended pretty soon after that, as I was kinda done playing the game at this point. This area got me good, I will admit!
